I believe we have found the most idyllic spot in England at Blaise Hamlet. We made an overnight trip to Bristol a few weeks ago, and visited these cottages. They were built in the early 1800's and were designed the the famous John Nash. He was also the architect of Buckingham Palace, St James Park, Regent Park, the Royal Pavillion in Brighton, and numerous country homes in England, Scotland and Wales. The owner of Blaise Castle commissioned Nash to design a group of nine asymmetrical picturesque cottages, laid out around a village green. Heavenly!
This is so beautiful. It looks like a fairy tale.
