"75 hours in A & E"- St. Georges Hospital- London

A popular TV show in England is
"24 hours in A & E". It is filmed at
St. Georges Hospital in in London.
Who would have thought that Russ
would be treated there on
November 16th.

He had a heart attack just as we
arrived at the LDS church in
East Grinstead.
Elder Porter drove us to the
nearby Victoria hospital
where they transferred Russ
by ambulance to St. Georges.

It took nearly an hour to navigate
   the narrow streets of London,
   even with the siren on.
A life saved!  Now he has a stent.

It has been one week, and one day now
since Russell's heart attack. He has been taking it easy, but went to church one week later and taught YSA Sunday School class. I was a bit worried about him standing up while he was teaching, but he took a rest and sat down each time he asked a class
member to read, and then he was up again and carried on very well.
This morning, he felt good enough to walk
a few blocks and back, and plans to
increase it everyday until we are doing 2 miles again. Life will be different in many ways now, but I'm sure we will adjust and
I know we will forever thank to the Lord
that his life was spared!!
